Obituary of Anthony P. Vattimo

Anthony (Tony) P. Vattimo, 63, husband of Christine (Liedike) Vattimo, of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Montgomery County, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Legacy

Born in Philadelphia, PA the son of late Vincent and Concetta Vattimo. He was a graduate of Bishop Kendrick High School and West Chester University studying music education.

Tony had a long career in information technology and was also a lifelong accomplished musician. He performed in a number of bands from a young age and released his own jazz album "Can't Let Go". He also held several music and choir director positions throughout his life. Besides his exceptional talent on the piano and organ, he was an excellent cook, loved quoting movies, and followed his Philadelphia sports teams. Above all, Tony cherished spending time with his family.

Family

Surviving in addition to his wife of 33 years, his children Sara (Gregory) Flail of Barrington, NJ, Joseph Vattimo of Philadelphia, and Maria Vattimo of Philadelphia.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Tony's visitation on Friday, 9:30 - 11:30 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 PM at Saints Peter and Paul RC Church, 360 Ganttown Road, Turnersville, NJ 08012. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Newfield, NJ.
