Obituary of Edward Paul Faichtyger, Sr.

Edward Paul Faichtyger, 91, of Sewell, NJ, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018.  
 
Legacy
Edward, lovingly known as Paul,  was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family. He also enjoyed traveling, fishing, listening to music, going to his grandchildrens'  extracurricular activities, and loved animals. Edward was a career Police Officer in Philadelphia and was the in the first group of Highway Patrol Officers, and was a sharpshooter. Upon retiring from the Police Force, Ed went on to work for the Department of Welfare and the Inspector General's Office until he was 76. He also served his country in the Air Force. Edward will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  

 
Family
He is the beloved husband of 64 years to Ann (nee DeAngelo); devoted father of Edward P. Faichtyger (Nancy), and Marc Edward Faichtyger; loving grandfather to Edward P. Faichtyger, III (Megan), Ariana M. Faichtyger, and Nicholas A. Faichtyger.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation at the Church of the Holy Family 226 Hurffville Rd, Sewell, NJ 08080 on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery - Chews Landing.
