Obituary of Donald E. Oerlemans

Donald E. Oerlemans, age 82, of Westville, NJ passed away on August 2, 2018.

 

Legacy

Don graduated from Gloucester City High School in 1954. He served in the US Air Force for 6 years and was stationed in Texas and Okinawa. While in Texas he became a Master Mason for life for over fifty years.

Donald owned and operated 4 Star Realty. He was also a publisher who wrote more than ten books which are in the Library of Congress. He also wrote for ‘Turf Magazine’, Book of Horse Racing. Donald enjoyed singing and Square Dancing. He became a Square Dance Caller with his wife as an instructor and they both performed at various events.

            Donald was a caring, happy, loving person, and he had a great sense of humor, not to mention that he enjoyed people – and also loved life.

            He indeed touched the lives of many, many people during his lifetime and they are richer for it.

Beloved husband of 48 years to Kris ‘Joan’ (née Keuler); Adored son of the late Edna Kaurnstrom (née Cormaney) and Al Oerlermans; Dear brother to Richard Koester and the late Charlie Koester; Treasured uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
