Obituary of Edward A. Rudley, Esq.

Edward A. Rudley, Esq., 79, of Glassboro, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018.

 Legacy

A loyal and generous man, Ed would give you the shirt off his back if he thought it would help you.  He was well known for his heart of gold and was an all around "great man."  A social, intelligent and loyal guy, he was a great friend to many.  He cherished his family...especially his grandchildren. 

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Ed was a proud graduate of Temple University and Temple Law School.  He was an accomplished college athlete and lettered in wrestling and baseball. He was a distinguished and high profile Attorney, Assistant DA, and Public Defender in Philadelphia from 1964 - 1992.  Ed was a well-respected thoroughbred racehorse owner and breeder.  After his career in law, with his outgoing and social personality, Ed owned Steph and Ed's which is now called Ott's.  Ed will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Family

Devoted father of Robert (Tracey) Rudley, Daniel (Amy) Rudley, Katherine (Christopher) Worth and Michael Rudley; cherished grandfather of Robert Jr., Brooke, David, Kendall, Erin, Kennedy, Taylor, Reese, Madi, Chase and Brooks; loving son of Saul and Sylvia (nee Lapan) Rudley.
