Obituary of Charles G. Hamilton

Charles G. Hamilton, 92, of Atco, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

Legacy
A funny, laid back gentleman, Chuck was mild mannered and was genuinely a good person. He enjoyed traveling, old cars and cooking. Chuck and Dolly were ballroom dancers and active members of the Moose Lodge in Lindenwold.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Chuck lived in Atco, NJ and prior to that, Sicklerville and Florida. He was a proud United States Army Veteran serving during World War II, 1944-1946.

Family
He is the beloved husband of 27 years to Estelle "Dolly" Dankel-Hamilton (nee Butler): loving stepfather of Judy (Michael) Podolsky, Laurie (Joseph) Koenig, Charles Dankel and the late, Harry Dankel, Jr. and Susan Dankel Culver; father of Karen Myer, John Hamilton, Charles Hamilton and the late Robert Hamilton; devoted grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 9. Also survived by 2 sisters.

Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to Charles' visitation on Wednesday, 11:00 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ, where the Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 AM.
