Obituary of Elinor A. Connell

Elinor Ann Connell, (nee O'Donnell) of Lebanon, PA  passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.  She was aged 95 years.
 
Legacy
Elinor was born in Natick, Mass and grew up in Rensselaer, New York. She graduated from St. John's High School,  Rensselaer, NY . She grew into a woman with devout Catholic faith and devotion to the Blessed Mother. Elinor worked for Alcoa Aluminum for many years as an Administrative Assistant.  

Away from her work, Elinor enjoyed tending to her garden, quilting and traveling with her family and spending summers in Cape Cod; a tradition that her family carries to this day. Most of all, Elinor enjoyed doting on her grandchildren and creating memories that they will cherish as her legacy.  Elinor's family would like to extend a special acknowledgement and thank you to Elinor's "Angels on Earth" who cared for her lovingly during her time at Woodbury Mews.

Elinor is the beloved wife of the late John; loving mother of Paul (Donna) Connell & Kathleen (Michael) Kane; dear sister of Jean O'Donnell, Ann (the late Richard) Ryan & James( Joyce) O'Donnell; grandmother of Megan (Dan) Carroll, Maura (Adam) DiMedio, Brendan ( Meagan) Kane, Erin Connell & Shannon (Jim) Kelley; great grandmother of Jack, Keira, Claire & Kane.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Elinor's viewing Wednesday morning after 9:30 AM in the Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua where her Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be held privately on Thursday in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.  Arrangements under the direction of the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, Woodbury & Washington Twp.
