Obituary of Helen T. Newcomb

Helen T. Newcomb (nee Anderson), 77, of Stratford, NJ, peacefully met the Lord on June 15, 2018.

Legacy

A kind, easy going lady, Helen brought smiles to all that knew her through her laughter.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and made friends easily.  Through her great story telling, her family and friends have treasured memories.  Helen loved to read, had great hearing to go along with her "no filter" personality and was great with numbers.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Helen was a longtime resident of Stratford, NJ.  Prior to retiring, Helen spent over 40 years in the banking industry and retired from Wachovia Bank.  After retiring, Helen worked as a cafeteria worker at Sterling High School where she enjoyed spending time with the kids and making new friends. 

Family

Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Newcomb, Sr.; devoted mother of Joseph P. Newcomb, Jr.; dear sister of Michael J. (the late, Jo Ann) Anderson; loving sister in law of Richard (Teresa), Patrick (Edwina), Robert, Carol (Frank), David (Denise) and William.  Helen is the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews and cousin of Karen, Diane and Mary.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and Friends are invited to Helen's viewing on Thursday, 9:15 - 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. Luke's RC Church, 55 Warwick Road, Stratford, NJ  08084.  Mass will follow at 11:00 AM.  Interrment at a later date at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
