Alice M. Gaull, 96, of Washington Township, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019.
A loving, caring and compassionate woman, Alice was devoted to her family. Her family considered her the glue that held them all together and their guardian angel. She didn't have a mean bone in her body and cherished her time with family. A talented lady, Alice would spread her love of cooking and baking by sharing her creations of decorated cakes, homemade pizzelles, strawberry shortcake and let's not forget her wonderful macaroni and potato salad. Alice was also a regular at the Pitman Craft Show with her table of handmade crafts. In their younger years, Alice and her late husband, Timothy spent time in their RV with their grandchildren traveling to Disney World and making memories.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Alice has been a resident of Woodbury for 60 years. In her younger years, she worked on the conveyor line at Whitman Chocolates and then went to nursing school and worked at Hahnemann Hospital for many years. She was an active parishioner of St. Patrick's Church where she was a member of the Catholic Daughter and Altar and Rosary Society.
Beloved wife of the late Timothy; devoted mother of Kathy (Bob) Weiner and the late Timothea (George) Smith and George Gaull: Mother in law of Nancy Gaull; Cherished grandmother of Tim (Shari), Kim (Vince), Mike (Kerry), Tammy (Steve), Billy, Brian (Rachel), Jen and Zac, great grandmother of 18 and great great grandmother of 2; dear sister of the late Peg (William) Carberry, William (Jane) Cavanaugh and Theresa Holmes.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Alice's viewing on Wednesday, 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ, where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Township, NJ.
