Obituary of Ruth D Whitehead

Ruth D. Whitehead (nee DuBosque), of National Park, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. She was 97.

Legacy
Ruth loved tending to her garden and was very handy. In her 80s she climbed up onto her roof to replace some shingles and clean out her gutters. She was also a Sunday School Teacher at GCCC, and a member of programs such as Friends Needing Friends, her monthly Bible Study groups, The Mother/Child Program of Woodbury, and Volunteers of America. Ruth will be missed by all who knew and loved her.


Family
She is the beloved Wife of 49 years to the late Weyman Whitehead; devoted mother of Janet Keebler(Ed) and the late Wayne Whitehead (Sue); Dear sister of the late Roy DuBosque (Floss), Barton DuBosque. and Mary Ellen Dougherty (Robert); Loving grandmother to Edward III (Karen), and Holly Ante (Mike); great grandmother to Kelcie, Taylor, and Aidan, great great grandmother to Saige.

Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ruth's visitation on Tuesday from 9 - 10:30 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ 08096. A Funeral Ceremony will follow. Interment in Woodbury Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Keystone Fellowship of South Jersey 307 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964-1275.
