Obituary of Lawrence A. Elwell

Lawrence A. Elwell, 65 of Swedesboro, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. 
 
Legacy
Born in Camden NJ. Raised in Gloucester City, Graduated Class of 1970.  He attended Temple University and swam competitively. He was a Pilot for over 40 years.  He was a loving and caring family man.  He loved being with his girls.

 
Family
He is the beloved husband of Irma Elwell (Yerkes).  Devoted father of Michelle (Tom) Grello, Catie (Derek) Gieschen, and Becky Elwell.  Cherished grandfather of Elisa and Tom.  Precious son of the late Catherine and Arthur Elwell.  Dear brother of Bob Elwell and Bill (Maryann) Elwell.  His adored special cat companion Lily.  He will be missed by many friends and family.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation from 9:00AM to 11:00AM on Tuesday, February 20th in McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury NJ 08096.  Service at 11:00AM.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church, 1433 Kings Highway, Swedesboro, NJ 08085 - bethesdaumcnj.com.
