Obituary of Ronald A. Verrecchio

Ronald A. Verrecchio, 83, of Mantua, New Jersey, passed away on January 27, 2018.  He was 83.
 
Legacy

A true gentleman with a great sense of humor, nothing made Ron happier than to put a smile on his loved ones faces. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye. Many memories were made at his North Wildwood home and they will forever be cherished.  Sitting on the porch, watching the bay was one of his favorite past times.  He had the gift of gab and made friends easily.  This also made his career as an insurance salesman and in later years a car salesman, easy.  Ron was the life of a party with his wonderful joke telling and loved to dance.  His passion was cars...through the years, Ron owned, Cadillacs, BMW's and Jaguars, but his dream was to own a Bentley.  So his family bought him a remote control Bentley so his dream was fulfilled.  In the last ten years, after never taking a plane ride, Nanette and Ron started traveling and he took to flying like he had been doing it his whole life.  They traveled to Phoenix, Alaska, Seattle, Disney World, Outer Banks, Canadian Rockies, Hawaii and Italy. Pizza Zeppole in the Deptford Mall was a regular hang out for Ron.  It was a favorite of his and when they got busy, it would not be uncommon to see him behind the counter helping out.  He just had that outgoing personality.

Loving Father of Claudine (Robert) Colgan; devoted grandfather of Christopher, Brittany, Michael, Gabrielle and great grandfather of Kaylee and Adrianna. Dear partner of Nanette Nichol.  Ron is predeceased by his beloved Wife, Patricia N. (nee Longo) and loving daughter, Stephanie Seltzer.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ron's viewing on Friday 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 AM.  Entombment at New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.

In lieu of flowers,  memorial donations may be made in Ron's name to his granddaughter, Gabrielle's school, the Larc School, 1089 Creek Road, Bellmawr, NJ  08031.
