Obituary of Justine E. Berry

Justine E. Berry (neé Perkins) National Park Justine lost her gallant battle on December 11, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Philadelphia in 1941 to Lucille Carlin and Charles Perkins. She is predeceased by her siblings Harold Perkins (Cass), James Carlin (Linda), and Katherine Berry (Harold). She joins the love of her life, her beloved husband Gordon "Huck" Berry in eternal peace. They will both be sadly missed by their children Gordon 'Huck' Berry, III, and Tina Grant (Gene). Justine was a proud Grandmother to Gina Grant and Jennifer Berry, and Great-Grandmother to Danny and Jenna. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, including her loving nephew Paul Berry (Sandy). Awaiting her at the Gates of Heaven are her nephews Mark and Eric Berry. Her professional career included SL Industries, tax assessor in National Park and her most cherished profession, Nanny, to many adoring children. Every child left in her care felt safe and secure. She was truly blessed to have the love and admiration of many families over the years. Playing bingo, shuffle board and socializing with her friends at Shepherd's Farm were just a few of her favorite activities. She was an incredible cook and loved preparing meals to share with her friends. Justine was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Family meant the world to her. Her arms were always open and inviting. You were never a guest in her home, you were family. Her loyalty knew no bounds. She was kind, patient, and caring. We will miss her beautiful soul.
