Obituary of Maureen T. Lamonica

Maureen T. Lamonica (nee Bonner), 76, of Westville, NJ, passed away suddenly on December 24, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Legacy A thoughtful and caring lady, Maureen always put the needs of others before her own. She was independent, strong-willed and devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, Maureen loved to tend to her garden, work on crossword puzzles and read. She also loved to dance at special occasions and have her family join her. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Maureen was a resident of Westville for 52 years. She was a longtime parishioner at Most Holy Redeemer RC Church and also substituted at the school. Her strong nature enabled Maureen to return to school at the age of 40 and earn her Associates in Nursing and was employed at St. Agnes Hospital in Philadelphia until her retirement in 2006. Family She is the beloved Wife of the late, Anthony; loving mother of Michelle (Lee) Jones, David (Blanca) Lamonica, Anthony (Dana) Lamonica, Suzanne Lamonica; Cherished Grandmom of Sarah, Anthony, Olivia, Dominic, Giovanna, Chloe, Alaina and Marisa; dear sister of the late Frank Bonner, Patricia Daily and Gerald Bonner. Maureen is also survived by a loving sister in law, Joanna Reitano and dear friend, Catherine Branchide. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to Maureen's viewing on Friday, 9:00 - 10:15 AM at Holy Angels Parish at Most Holy Redeemer RC Church, 1219 Delsea Drive, Westville, NJ, where the Mass will follow at 10:30 AM.
