Obituary of Patricia E. Yates

Patricia E. "Patti" Yates, (nee Dougherty), 67, of Gloucester Township, NJ, passed away suddenly on January 20, 2018. Predeceased by her parents George and Elizabeth (Morrell) Dougherty and brother, John R. Dougherty. Loving mother to Michael and Veronica "Ronni" (Stafford) Yates, Sr.; Christopher and Luciana (Rosati) Yates; Jonathan and Tara (Grassia) Yates; and Patricia "Mandi" Yates. Loving grandmother to eight grandchildren: Michael, Jr., Tyler, Ava, Gabriel, Gianna, Alexander, Valera Yates and Gabriella Quin. Also Survived by siblings: David and Nancy Dougherty; William and Eileen Dougherty; Barbara (Dougherty) and the late, Steve Peck; and, sister-in-law Dolores (Yates) Mirra. Patti was raised in Levittown, PA., before moving to Gloucester Township in 1973. She was a member of Chews Methodist Church in Glendora, NJ., and was a retired registered nurse from Hahnemann Hospital and the Gloucester Township School District. She enjoyed quality time with her family, years of memories in Sea Isle City, shopping and spending time with her grandkids. Relatives and friends are invited to Patti's viewing on Thursday, 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ, where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 AM. Entombment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Patti's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) at www.jdrf.org.
