Obituary of Claire A. Girouard

Claire Anne Girouard, 47, of Thorofare, New Jersey, passed away on January 6, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. Legacy A loving and caring wife, mother and daughter, Claire was devoted to her entire family. She cherished her time with them and loved to cook for them...some of their favorites being potato leek soup, crabs, clams and spaghetti, steak kabobs and chicken cutlets. When the family had parties, everyone looked forward to her warm and friendly personality. Claire shared her great sense of humor with everyone. Claire was young at heart and enjoyed playing the claw machine, 8 ball pinball and loved to be at the beach. Her talent for interior design was envied by many and her beautiful touches were found all throughout her home. Family Beloved wife of 26 years to Joseph Sr.; cherished mother of Joseph Jr., Mitchell, Christopher and Ciara; loving daughter of Claire Lorraine (nee Heimerl) and the late, David Haines; loving sister of Dave, Jr.; dear daughter in law of Elizabeth (nee Smith) and the late Rudolph J. Girouard. Claire is also survived by her step mother, Charlene Haines, many loving in laws, nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, Sam. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend Claire's visitation on Friday, 5 - 7 PM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ, where the Memorial Service will follow at 7 PM.
